Career at Carolina Pintos Therapy
At Carolina Pintos Therapy, we’re more than a post-surgery rehabilitation clinic—we’re the clinic Houston’s leading cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons send their patients to, and the only clinic in the city with nearly one thousand five-star Google reviews. While our processes and practices have evolved over time, what we value has remained constant. From day one to today, three deeply ingrained principles have guided all our actions: Passion, Persistence, and Integrity. As we continue to grow across our Memorial / Energy Corridor and The Woodlands locations, these principles remain the standard we hire against—and the reason our patients are referred to us by name.

Passion
Be driven by strong interest, enthusiasm, and dedication to what you contribute both in and outside of work.

Persistence
Have the tenacity to follow-through on projects and goals, face challenges, and look for new opportunities.

Integrity
Do the right thing, uphold honesty, and take commitments seriously, both professionally and personally.

How we hire: most positions at Carolina Pintos Therapy begin as a 1099 independent contractor engagement, with the opportunity to convert to a W-2 employee role with benefits based on performance and business need. Each posting below states exactly how that role starts, what it pays, and what changes on conversion. Our Office Manager position is a W-2 employee role from day one; the Aesthetician role is a hybrid that combines skincare treatments with front-office work alongside her.
Apply For Aesthetician / Front Office Position
Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC is looking for a licensed Aesthetician for a hybrid role: half skincare provider, half front-office partner to our Office Manager. Most of our clients are healing from surgery, and many are referred to us by Houston’s top cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons, so you will be treating post-operative skin inside a clinical environment led by Carolina Pintos, PT, LMT, MLD, CLT, MTT — and helping run the front desk that every one of those patients passes through.
That combination is the point. The front-desk half puts you in front of every patient who walks in, which is the fastest way we know to grow your own treatment book — the clients you treat increasingly become clients you met and earned yourself. We are looking for someone technically strong and genuinely careful with post-operative skin, who also enjoys the pace of a busy front office and wants to build something of their own inside it.
How this role starts: This position begins as a 1099 independent contractor engagement, with the opportunity to convert to a W-2 employee role with benefits — typically after about a year of consistent, high-quality service. Conversion is based on performance and business need, is offered in writing, and is not automatic. We say this up front because we would rather be honest about the path than surprise you later.
Responsibilities:
- Skincare consultations — perform thorough consultations and build treatment plans around each client’s skin, history, and stage of recovery.
- Treatments — deliver facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and related aesthetic treatments, adjusting for post-operative clients and clients on medications that affect the skin, and escalating anything outside your scope — stopping to ask is always the right call here.
- Records and standards — keep accurate treatment records, and maintain sanitation, disinfection, and linen standards to Texas state requirements between every client.
- Front desk and patient flow — partner with the Office Manager across the front office: greeting patients, checking them in, making sure required forms are completed before treatment, and keeping the lobby and treatment areas presentable.
- Scheduling and follow-up — help manage the appointment book, confirm and reschedule visits, follow up with patients who started booking but never finished, and check in on past patients about their recovery.
- Calls, messages, and payments — answer patient calls, texts, and emails, and assist with payment processing and daily record-keeping.
- Growing your own book — introduce patients to our skincare services while they are already in the clinic, and turn front-desk relationships into booked treatments.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Esthetician license (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional skincare or medical-aesthetics coursework is a plus.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a spa, medspa, or clinical skincare setting.
- Solid working knowledge of skincare ingredients, contraindications, and treatment protocols.
- Clear understanding of what requires physician delegation in Texas and what does not.
- Front-office, reception, or customer-service experience, ideally in a medical or clinical setting.
- Comfortable with phone systems, scheduling software, and general computer work, and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Genuinely comfortable switching between treating a client and running a busy front desk.
- Warm, professional communication and a real interest in selling through honest recommendation rather than pressure.
- Discretion with patient information and a clear understanding of HIPAA expectations.
- Spanish proficiency is a strong plus in this role, since you will be speaking with patients at the front desk all day.
What We Provide During the Contract Period:
- A steady flow of clients already coming to us for post-surgical care — you are not building a book from scratch.
- Front-desk exposure to every patient who walks through the door, which is the fastest way to grow your own treatment book.
- Access to a professional treatment room with modern equipment and quality product lines.
- Structured onboarding in our clinical standards, front-office systems, and HIPAA practices. A training-cost agreement applies during the first six months and declines month by month; the remaining balance is forgiven in writing if you convert to W-2 employment.
- A clean, safe, well-run clinic with an Office Manager who runs the floor with you, not over you.
- Coffee and water machine, lobby, and breakroom.
Compensation & Engagement Terms:
- $19.00 per hour, plus 15% commission on treatment services and 10% commission on skincare product sales, calculated on net revenue after discounts, taxes, and processing fees.
- Gratuities are yours individually and are never pooled during the contract period.
- Paid bi-weekly. Contractors invoice for services and are responsible for their own taxes (W-9 required).
- Rates are reviewed annually or earlier, and change only by written agreement.
- Front-office coverage is scheduled in advance in agreed blocks, and treatment work is booked around it.
- Generally 25–35 hours per week across both halves of the role, at our Memorial / Energy Corridor and The Woodlands locations.
- Contractors are free to serve other clients during the engagement.
Upon Conversion to W-2 Employment:
- Full-time hours with paid scheduled time and overtime per law.
- 401(k) retirement plan — company Safe Harbor match, discretionary profit sharing, and immediate vesting on all company contributions. Eligibility begins after one year with the company; the plan documents govern.
- Medical plan.
- Employee discount on clinic treatments.
- Eligibility for our annual performance bonus program.
- Career advancement opportunities as the clinic grows.
- A sale bonus opportunity for lead roles. Team members invited into a lead position may be offered our Sale Bonus and Phantom Equity agreement — a bonus calculated as 1% of the net proceeds if the company is ever sold. It is offered by invitation under a separate written agreement, requires active employment in good standing at closing, is not an ownership interest in the company, and is not a guarantee of any amount.
Apply For Massage Therapist Position
Join the clinic Houston’s top plastic and reconstructive surgeons trust with their patients. As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC, you will train directly under Carolina Pintos, PT, LMT, MLD, CLT, MTT — an award-winning Physical Therapist with decades of experience — and learn manual lymphatic drainage and post-operative recovery work at a level very few therapists in Texas ever get taught.
No prior post-operative experience is required. We will train you properly, and we pay you while we do it. What we cannot train is character. We are looking for someone reliable, humble, genuinely curious about how the body works, and steady with patients who arrive anxious, swollen, and in pain.
- Deliver manual lymphatic drainage, post-operative recovery treatments, and our other specialized modalities using the clinic’s protocol.
- Provide attentive, personalized care to patients at every stage of recovery.
- Recognize post-surgical warning signs and escalate immediately — you will be trained on exactly what to watch for, and stopping to escalate is always protected and expected.
- Document each service accurately, including progress and anything that needs follow-up.
- Keep your treatment room clean, stocked, and ready between patients.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Massage Therapy license (required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in anatomy or physiology is preferred, not required.
- Working understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Collaborative and coachable, with real intellectual curiosity about the work.
- Able to follow a clinical protocol precisely and consistently.
- Discretion with patient information and a clear understanding of privacy expectations in a medical setting.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus, not a requirement.
What We Provide During the Contract Period:
- A steady flow of patients referred directly by leading Houston surgeons — you are not marketing yourself or chasing clients.
- A four-week clinical training program taught in-house, covering body systems and anatomy, inflammation physiology and tissue repair, surgical procedures and incision management, manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder and Leduc methods plus our adapted session methodology), hands-on clinical practice, documentation and escalation, and HIPAA — plus ongoing education as new techniques and equipment come into the clinic.
- A training-cost agreement applies during the first six months and declines month by month; the remaining balance is forgiven in writing when you convert to W-2 employment.
- Access to a dedicated treatment room with professional equipment, including radiofrequency, cupping, wood therapy, vibration, and cavitation.
- A close, family-oriented team that covers for each other, and a retention and conversion bonus available under a separate written agreement, subject to its terms.
Compensation & Engagement Terms:
- $27.00 per documented service hour.
- Gratuities are yours — card gratuities paid out per the point-of-sale record, cash directly to you — and are never pooled during the contract period.
- Paid bi-weekly. Contractors invoice for services and are responsible for their own taxes (W-9 required).
- Rates are reviewed annually or earlier, and change only by written agreement.
- Treatments take place at our Memorial / Energy Corridor and The Woodlands locations, with some scheduled in-home patient visits.
Upon Conversion to W-2 Employment:
- Full-time hours with paid scheduled time and overtime per law.
- Participation in the team tip pool.
- Your remaining training balance forgiven in full.
Apply For Office Manager Position
Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC is seeking an Office Manager to run the front of our clinic. This is the role everything else depends on: you set the tone patients feel the moment they walk in, you keep the schedule full and accurate, and you make sure our therapists can focus entirely on treating.
We are looking for someone with a medical or clinical front-office background who understands enough about anatomy, post-surgical treatment, and recovery to speak with patients credibly — and who knows exactly when a question belongs to a clinician instead.
How this role starts: Unlike our clinical contractor roles, the Office Manager position is a W-2 employee role from day one — scheduled hours, overtime per law, and eligibility for our benefits program. You are an employee here from your first shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greet every patient warmly and set the tone for their visit.
- Make sure patients complete all required forms before treatment begins.
- Manage the appointment book end to end — bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Follow up with patients who started booking but never finished, and check in on past patients about their recovery and satisfaction.
- Answer calls, texts, and emails from prospective patients, and turn genuine interest into booked appointments.
- Work closely with the therapists so care and scheduling stay in sync, and escalate any clinical question rather than answering it yourself.
- Lead and delegate to front-desk and receptionist staff.
- Handle payment processing, deposits, and daily financial record-keeping.
- Keep the clinic presentable and stocked — supplies, linens, restroom and lobby standards, and coordinating the laundry service.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required). A large share of our patients are more comfortable discussing their surgery and recovery in Spanish, and this role speaks with patients all day.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred — Business Management, Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Marketing are all useful here.
- At least 3 years of customer service experience in a medical or clinical setting.
- At least 3 years of management or team-lead experience, or equivalent responsibility.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, basic anatomy, and post-surgical treatment.
- Comfortable with phone systems, scheduling software, and general computer work, and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms for day-to-day clinic communication.
- A proactive problem solver who can run the floor without being told what to do next.
- Available to work some weekends to accommodate patient schedules.
- Discretion with patient information and a clear understanding of HIPAA expectations.
- Experience with WordPress, or in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or physical therapy practice, is a plus, not a requirement.
What We Provide:
- A beautiful, safe, well-equipped office.
- Company laptop and company cell phone.
- All the software you need to do the job quickly and well.
- Structured onboarding in our systems, front-office HIPAA practices, and clinical literacy.
- On-site laundry machines, coffee and water machine, lobby, and breakroom.
Compensation & Schedule:
- $19.00–$25.00 per hour depending on experience, paid bi-weekly.
- Non-exempt position; overtime paid per law.
- Full-time, generally 30–40 hours per week, with flexibility to cover some weekends.
- Based at our Memorial / Energy Corridor location, with occasional coverage at The Woodlands.
Benefits:
- Paid scheduled hours and ongoing professional development.
- Real career advancement — our Principal Office Manager grew into that role from this seat.
Apply For Marketing Position
Carolina Pintos Therapy, PLLC is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to grow the brand that Houston’s post-surgical recovery patients already trust. This is a blended role: part strategist, part content creator, part project coordinator. You will produce the content that reaches our patients — long-form YouTube video, short-form reels, blog articles, carousels, and paid campaigns — and build the system that keeps it all shipping on schedule.
We are looking for someone who can both make the work and own the plan behind it. If you want responsibility for a real brand instead of one small channel inside someone else’s, this is that role.
- YouTube and long-form video — plan, script, film, and edit patient education videos, procedure explainers, recovery guides, and Q&A sessions with Carolina, and keep the channel publishing on a rhythm it can sustain.
- Titles, thumbnails, and search — write titles and descriptions and design thumbnails that earn the click, and treat YouTube as a search engine rather than a social feed.
- Short-form and social — build and run the monthly content calendar across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook; edit reels and Shorts from clinic footage; design carousels and story graphics in the clinic’s brand; write captions and reply to comments and messages in our voice.
- Blog and website — research, draft, and publish articles on post-surgical recovery, lymphatic drainage, and aesthetic treatments; optimize titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links; keep service pages and promotions accurate and current.
- Paid media — help plan and manage Google Ads and Meta campaigns, build and test creative and offers, track cost per lead and cost per booked appointment, and report on results monthly.
- Strategy and coordination — research competitors and local trends, propose campaigns tied to seasonality and clinic capacity, build a repurposing system so one filming day feeds every channel, keep the asset library organized, and coordinate shoot logistics including signed patient consent.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism is preferred, not required.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in marketing, social media, or content production.
- A portfolio or live examples of work you personally created — video, reels, carousels, campaigns, or articles.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut, and the ability to edit both long-form and short-form video.
- Comfortable with the basics of filming: framing, lighting, and clean audio.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop, including thumbnail design.
- Working knowledge of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and what actually performs on each.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, or a demonstrated ability to learn platforms quickly.
- Basic comfort with analytics such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and YouTube Studio.
- Strong written English; Spanish is a plus, not a requirement.
- Comfortable on camera, or comfortable directing others on camera.
- Discretion with patient information and a clear understanding of privacy expectations in a medical setting.
What We Provide During the Contract Period:
- Access to our Memorial / Energy Corridor and The Woodlands clinic spaces for filming, including treatment rooms and lobby.
- On-site camera, lighting, and audio equipment for scheduled shoot days.
- Brand assets, guidelines, and the existing content library.
- Access to the clinic’s marketing platform accounts needed to deliver the work.
- Direct access to leadership, so good ideas get decided on quickly instead of buried.
- Coffee and water machine, lobby, and breakroom on shoot days.
Compensation & Engagement Terms:
- Rates are based on experience and the agreed scope of work, and are discussed directly during the interview process.
- Scope is agreed in writing and measured by deliverables — videos published, articles delivered, campaigns managed — rather than hours worked, and can be structured around a lighter or fuller workload depending on your availability.
- Paid on invoice. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes (W-9 required).
- Rates are reviewed annually or earlier, and change only by written agreement.
- Filming takes place on site at our Memorial / Energy Corridor and The Woodlands locations on shoot days scheduled in advance; planning, editing, and publishing can be done from wherever you work best.
- Contractors are free to serve other clients during the engagement.
Upon Conversion to W-2 Employment:
- Company laptop and company cell phone.
- Continuous professional development through training and education.
